Our practice is about our clients.
We aggressively defend our clients with integrity, compassion and expertise. We know our clients as individuals, people with diverse backgrounds, needs and aspirations. It is our goal to defend each person as an individual, not just as another case. Your priorities determine our objectives and strategies in defending you.
You need a team on your side.
For each case we assemble a team to fight for you. We use experienced, trained investigators, with whom we have developed strong and trusting relationships, to investigate the facts of each case. If the case calls for it, we engage accident scientists, doctors, and engineers to challenge the government's evidence.
We do not assume that the police, FBI, or other government agency got it right. We do our own investigation, and often find the witness or evidence that the government "missed" -- the one that wins the case for our client.
We understand your special circumstances.
We know that alcohol, drugs and mental illness play a role in the lives of many people who are accused of crimes. That does not mean that they are guilty. We have experience and expertise in representing people who suffer from addiction and mental illness. We understand -- the government may not.
Trust.
We believe that trust is absolutely critical to our relationship with our clients. We work to build a trusting relationship with each person we defend.
When you are pulled into the criminal justice system, you quickly learn that it is a foreign place, with a language, process, and rules all its own. You need a lawyer who will explain this world and what it means for you. Sometimes this means delivering difficult news. We will always give an honest opinion about your case, and advise you accordingly; we will not tell you just what you want to hear. |
